LaTeXのセットアップ

インストール

macOSではHomebrewを使ってTeX Liveをインストールするのが楽である。

以下のコマンドでインストールする。

$ brew install texlive

動作確認

日本語文書を扱う場合で、かつpLaTeXを用いる場合は、次の3つのコマンドが動作することを確認する。

  • platex
  • pbibtex
  • dvipdfmx

platex コマンドのバージョンを確認する。ロングオプションの -version のハイフンは1つであることに気を付ける。

$ platex -version
e-upTeX 3.141592653-p4.1.1-u1.30-230214-2.6 (utf8.euc) (TeX Live 2024/Homebrew)
kpathsea version 6.4.0
ptexenc version 1.4.6
Copyright 2024 D.E. Knuth.

pbibtex のバージョンを確認する。ロングオプションの -version のハイフンは1つであることに気を付ける。

dvipdfmx コマンドのバージョンを確認する。ロングオプションの --version のハイフンは2つであることに気を付ける。
